Tuckers' Tales Puppet Theatre is currently offering 24 different shows. Some are designed for younger children and others for school age and family groups. Holiday shows and those for special events are also available. Age appropriateness and length are listed next to the title. Click on the title to see a thumbnail photograph and a more detailed description. Click on the thumbnail to see a larger picture.

Prices are determined by the length of the show: $425.00 for the 30 minute shows, $450.00 for the 40-45 minute shows and $475.00 for the 60 minute shows. Travel fees may apply. Discounts are available for multiple and block bookings.

Aesop, one of the greatest storytellers of the ancient world, had a great sense of humor. And it's a good thing, because when Tuckers' Tales tells his stories, they take a few unexpected twists. The Tortoise & the Hare - A hare-raising adventure of Olympic proportions, The Fox & the Crow - The crow's meal is interrupted by a lesson in the dangers of self-admiration. The Ant & the Grasshopper - Take care before you wind up as a "grass-sicle" in winter's freezer, The Frog & the Ox - Sometimes trying to prove that you are not impressed with immensity may have immense consequences!

Bag TheatreBag Theatre Follies
Ever have a puppet show walk right up to you? Well here's one that can! Presented on a colorful bag theater walking stage, Bag Theater Follies presents an amusing series of vignettes. Each vignette is a story in itself, and presentations from 2 minutes to 25 minutes in length are possible. Bag Theater Follies is presented on a self-contained mobile theater using a variety of hand and rod puppets, and one or two complete stages (each complete with puppeteer and full show) can be provided.

The search for the source of all knowledge has been an age-old quest of the human race. But when a crew of mixed-up pirates set off to conquer the world on board the good ship Dictionary, learning becomes a hilarious adventure! Will they ever discover the treasure cove of Wisdom and Facts and rule the world? Join Captain Dewey and First Mate Decimal as they sail the seven seas toward true knowledge, and considerable laughter.

A circus band begins to play, a siren whistle sounds and suddenly a zany ringmaster appears to introduce the show. He and his clown "assistants" (hard working Ralph and happy-go-lucky Tumbles) are determined to see the show go on, despite bungled magic tricks and escaping animals. The result is a bit of rampaging craziness and the ultimate in clowning around. Cirkus combines a lively variety show format with lovable characters for half an hour of fun. Based on an old French folk-tale, The Creative Duck is the story of magical duck who happens to be a financial genius. When a nasty, evil king attempts to steal a fortune in gold from our hero, he must devise some very creative ways to foil the underhanded monarch. But are a magic shrinking flute & a helping horn enough to allow the duck and his friends to overcome financial & physical destruction? Is a bail-out plan even possible? And how will this effect interest rates? But can the mighty Finn MacCool outwit the great Scottish giant? Watch the fun as Finn and his wife Una attempt one of the funniest scams ever devised. Let Tuckers' Tales Puppet Theatre take you back to a time of giants and heroes, and reveal how the famous Giant's Causeway was formed in the far northern reaches of ancient Ireland.

On All Hallows Eve many strange and unusual beings are thought to wander the countryside. Not the recommended time for a simple-minded piper to be out and about! But Michael Murphy will have to learn this for himself when he is "commissioned" to provide the music for the Banshee's Halloween feast; and encounters some of ancient Ireland's legendary creatures in this old Celtic tale. Set in the mountains of southeast Ireland, this half hour production is a real showpiece, suitable for presentation anytime of the year, but especially appropriate at Halloween.

Who, you ask? Of course, we're talking about the one and only, Mr. Punch! The best known heroes of the puppet stage are alive and well and living behind our proscenium. Sock Monkey Sock Monkey Mysteries
For our youngest audiences. Short interactive adventures, each with a gentle lesson. They include "Pop goes the Weasel" why has Purple Weasel disappeared? "What's in the Closet?" why is there noise coming out of the closet? "The Case of the Missing Banana" where did the banana go? "Teddy Bears Picnic" the sock monkies' teddy bears go missing. Cordelia Catawailer has disappeared. Her slimy agent is frantic, and he has hired the Prying Mantis Detective Agency to look into the matter. The case has landed on the desk of crack FBI (Fuzzy Bug Investigator) Agent Sam Shovel. The prime suspect, an old lady known to be an insectivore, isn’t telling all she knows. And the CSI (Caterpillar Sighting Investigator) team, with the help of the marching ants, has followed a trail that grows colder by the minute. Sam’s boss, a real tyrant, is getting impatient. The case must be solved or she might bite his head off (literally). Follow the shadowy clues as Sam encounters Itsy-Bitsy Spiders, a Flea Circus, a chorus line and a little white duck and tries to solve the case of the missing singer. Presented with shadow puppets, The Shadow of the Bug is a mystery you won’t to miss!

Will the forest ever be freed from the spell of darkness?
